The English and Maths KS3 SEN 1:1 Tutor will provide individualised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Key Stage 3. Duties include:
1. Identifying learning needs
2. Developing tailored lesson plans
3. Implementing effective teaching strategies
4. Monitoring progress
5. Providing feedback to students and parents
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
1. Relevant qualification in Education or related field
2. Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching students with SEN
4. Strong understanding of SEN principles and practices
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
7. Proficiency in English and Maths
8. Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
9. Additional training in SEN education
This role involves working on a part-time, temporary basis with flexible hours. The tutor will be required to work closely with students, parents, and school staff to provide tailored support. The work will primarily take place in an educational setting in Loughton, Essex.
