Job overview
The role of a Project Support Officer is key to the success of our Trust’s implementation of a Medical rostering solution. The Project Support Officer will support the Senior Project Manager and Operational Support Manager in delivering the Medical rostering implementation project to tight deadlines while maintaining quality and managing risk.
Additional contract details: Fixed term until February 2027
Main duties of the job
1. Support the Senior Project Manager to achieve the project's objectives, benefits, and KPIs.
2. Continuous stakeholder engagement across all clinical and corporate divisions.
3. Maintain detailed and high-level project plans.
4. Manage project risks within tolerance and escalate to Project Manager where appropriate.
5. Schedule meetings, creating relevant agendas and associated documentation.
6. Maintain and update project records and reports.

1. Promote and carry out Project Management best practices, in line with PRINCE2.
2. Keep up to date with relevant technologies, new techniques and developments that might occur.
3. Contribute to effective team-working.
4. Ensure working procedures are properly documented and maintained.

1. Develop and maintain effective relationships with key members of staff throughout the Trust and the wider health community.
2. Support other colleagues engaged in the delivery of the Medical rostering implementation project.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
* Qualified and/or equivalent work experience to Degree Level
* Project Management Experience
* Advanced ICT Skills
* Engagement and Relationship Management Experience
* Experience working in a clinical setting
* Knowledge of Medical Rostering
