Be part of a forward-thinking group that drives digital transformation and delivers cutting-edge integration solutions, enabling real impact for the organisation and career growth for you About the role The purpose of this role is to provide support and development for bespoke integrations using the preferred tool as selected by HCC (currently BizTalk). You will take ownership of and resolve any incidents as and when they are reported, whilst contributing to project meetings and working with Project Managers and the business to provide robust, future proof bespoke integrations that follow the standards set out by HCC. The General Applications Team covers a wide range of application development and support and you will be focussing on building and maintaining bespoke integrations using our chosen tool. The integrations you develop will contribute to delivering a great service to all and touch on many service delivery areas, from Finance to Highways. We offer comprehensive on-the-job training and provide formal training as needed. About you Essential: Knowledge of working with databases Knowledge of object-oriented programming, C# preferred Version control; familiarity with source code control (e.g. Azure DevOps) Knowledge of integration concepts Problem solving; analytical skills Awareness of application security practice Desirable: Knowledge of project oversight, to manage delivery Experience of system upgrades and implementation Experience of supporting and maintaining integrations in a live environment Experience with supporting integrations Development lifecycle experience We welcome applications from candidates who currently reside in the UK with established proof of right to work documentation.
