This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Director of Redevelopment and Strategic Planning at the Trust, and the Chief Finance and Resource Officer at the University, along with senior colleagues to lead the development and delivery of key partnership initiatives that will shape the future of education higher education in the life sciences and healthcare in our region. As the Senior Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading the planning, delivery, and evaluation of strategic programmes that foster collaboration across the local healthcare, education, voluntary, community and public sectors. You will have the opportunity to work with key stakeholders, influence key decisions, and drive projects that improve recruitment and retention, training and education in the life sciences, and drive meaningful change that ultimately and positively impacts the health and wellbeing of the local community. Main duties of the job Your responsibilities will include: Developing and managing in collaboration with cross site teams, high-impact strategic programmes that align with the Partnership objectives. Leading and nurturing partnerships across a wide range of local organizations, including healthcare providers, local councils, third-sector partners, and community groups, aligning with the Partnership objectives. Collaborating with the Senior Leaders in health and higher education to support long-term strategic initiatives and transformational projects. Driving the delivery of complex projects while ensuring the efficient use of resources, meeting timelines, and maintaining high standards of quality. Leading stakeholder engagement activities, fostering positive relationships, and effectively managing risks and issues. Please note this is a new role, initially advertised as a 6 month fixed term contract, with a view to extend subject to a review of Programme evaluation.
