Job Title: Test Engineer
The job
The R&D member for the test team will work with the Product Owner, Stakeholders, and the Scrum Team to understand and execute the test requirements for the SaaS and On-prem solution. In this role, you will become part of a globally distributed team where inclusivity, diversity, and equality play an important part of the success criteria.
Key responsibilities
1. Define test cases and implement them using automation wherever possible; be open to manual testing as required and look for continuous improvement in the system.
2. Ensure that best practices are followed in test script creation; ensure that scripts are reviewed, tested, and documented with agreed quality standards.
3. Participate in Scrum meetings including sprint planning, estimating, backlog refinement, daily Scrum meetings, sprint retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
4. Provide a demo of progress highlighting achievements and challenges faced during the implementation in the Sprint Reviews.
Essential requirements
1. Experience in manual and automation testing.
2. Experience in using automation and performance testing tools like JMeter, Selenium, Playwright.
3. Experience in API testing.
4. Experience in working with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
5. Experience with CI/CD pipeline.
