Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Brentwood Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Description: Job Duties: - Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) - Develop individualised learning plans to support students in achieving their academic goals - Create engaging and interactive learning materials to enhance understanding and retention - Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed - Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students Required Qualifications: - A relevant degree in Education or a related field - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Experience working with students with SEN Education: - Degree in Education or a related field Experience: - Previous experience working with Key Stage 3 students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: - Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for English and Maths at Key Stage 3 - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: - Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching Working Conditions: - Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling - Work within a supportive educational environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
