We are looking for an Events Assistant to provide a full range of administration support for our amazing programme of flagship events, conferences and residential events. We are an independent charity devoted to changing young people’s lives through PE and sport, and in this role of Events Assistant, you would be supporting this ambition. The Events Assistant role is an integral part of the Youth Sport Trust events team and will provide event planning and administrative support to the National Events Manager and Events Officer. You will join a busy team of three, who manage planning and logistics for a wide range of events. The Events Assistant role will provide you with event planning and project planning experience, whilst experiencing and being key part of delivering events for the charity. This role will be varied, and the post holder will be required to perform tasks such as booking venues and arranging the delivery of equipment, right through to attending the events, assisting the events team to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day. A solid administrator with strong PC skills, you will have an eye for detail and be competent in producing simple reports. You will have excellent communication skills, and build the working relationships needed to achieve your goals. It would be advantageous to have experience of using a CRM system. You will be keen to work with a team and strive to deliver excellent results, as well as be willing to travel to/from and attend events away from home as required.
