Job Role We are seeking a proactive and passionate Community Engagement Officer to join our team working on large framework agreements within the Bristol and surrounding areas. This role will be vital in ensuring Social Value commitments between the project team and the local community, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders. Duties Work closely with key stakeholders on the frameworks, which including Local Authority, Highways Agency and Network Rail Work closely with the Project and Site teams to promote Social Value Develop scheme specific Social Value Plans Lead on social value working groups with other Tier 1 contractors Liaise with relevant organisations to fulfil our contract promises Support project teams to meet and report on project and company KPI’s Proactively look for opportunities to support the local communities whilst we are working within the area Supporting the promotion of company benefits such as volunteering days and match funding Supporting client and internal communications teams with good news stories and project milestones Creating high quality communications for internal/external stakeholders such as newsletters, presentations, briefings, posters and leaflets Organise and participate in events promoting career opportunities within the industry Organise public consultations, meetings, and events to provide project updates and gather feedback Person Specification Educated to GSCE level or above Experience of working within a customer facing role Strong communication skills along with good written communication Ability to work with key stakeholders at all levels Competent IT Skills and computer literacy Full UK Driving Licence is essential Fairness Inclusion & Respect Fairness, Inclusion and Respect (FIR) at Taylor Woodrow is about recognising and celebrating each other’s differences and what they bring to the team.
