Can you provide support to our students and their families, helping them to make the correct choices and to show positive behaviour for learning?
Slough and Eton school are looking for a pastoral support assistant to support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Heads of Year in tracking the progress of students and supporting their academic, behavioural, emotional and social needs. You will be a member of the behaviour support team. Pastoral support assistants provide a complementary service to teachers and other staff addressing the needs of students who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning in order to fulfil their full potential.
The pastoral support assistant will work with a range of students, dealing with issues as they arise but also being proactive in supporting students to make the correct choices and helping them to behave well. You will need to be a good communicator and show resilience at work. You will have an understanding of emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will also want to help our students be successful in school.
