As our Materials Controller, you will efficiently manage the call-off and delivery of materials in line with the build schedule across multiple sites.
What you will do:
* Monitor build progress with site teams to ensure materials are required on time
* Oversee production programmes related to stock and advise Site Managers of potential shortages
* Ensure timely call-off of materials to meet project schedules
* Liaise with Suppliers to confirm delivery arrangements
* Follow up on outstanding orders
* Coordinate with site teams regarding delivery discrepancies or damages
* Conduct regular checks for excess stock with site teams
What you will have:
* Building knowledge through site production experience and materials control
* Strong understanding of building materials
* Good planning and organizational skills
* Computer literacy
* Full clean Driving Licence
* Ability to travel to various Taylor Wimpey sites, including remote locations not well served by public transport
