About this opportunity The Colleague Communication & Experience team supports strategic business delivery and cultural transformation through simpler, more targeted and consistent end-to-end colleague communications and experiences. Day to day you'll be; Crafting creative, engaging content across a range of internal channels for a diverse variety of audience groups. Working closely and collaboratively with colleagues from across GCA and the wider business to ensure content is planned and delivered effectively. Leading the content requirements for complex projects, announcements and changes. Working flexibly and collaboratively across the team, taking an agile approach to supporting priority work when needed. Delivering improvements in tone, language and volume, and helps to build communications capability in colleagues across the organisation. Using measurement, data and feedback to understand the impact of our communications and uses this insight to improve how we do things in the future. Establishing and maintaining effective networks of contacts across the business. What you'll need You'll be an excellent communicator and collaborator, able to deliver impactful communications at pace. You'll use a range of channels including internal intranet, video, scripts and events. An outstanding copywriter, able to spot a great story and adapt style depending on the audience, channel and desired communications outcomes. Can cut through complexity to craft clear, succinct and engaging messages and challenge constructively to reduce the noise when needed. Able to use data, measurement and feedback to plan and prioritise communication activity effectively, driving the right outcomes for our audience. Demonstrates a clear understanding of audience and keen to explore and grasp the opportunities arising from emerging communications trends. Able to work at pace in an agile tech-enabled environment and a passion for leading change and continuous improvement by being bold, flexible and innovative. Experienced in influencing, managing senior leaders and advising colleagues from across the organisation as part of a centre of excellence. Proactive ownership of individual and team performance, taking accountability for collective success and taking pride in supporting our transformation. Understands the communications landscape, collaborating with channel and support teams within Group Corporate Affairs and, where required, external partners to deliver outstanding, inclusive and accessible communications.
