HR Operations Manager (Fixed Term Contract)

As a HR Operations Manager at Diaverum UK, using your expert HR knowledge and business acumen you will play a pivotal role in driving our people strategy, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting our mission to provide outstanding patient care. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, you'll be responsible for streamlining processes, building an engaging, inclusive and high-performance culture and to ensure we deliver people strategies that build capability and meet our organisational priorities whilst remaining compliant with UK employment law.
Your Responsibilities as a HR Manager: (include but not limited to)
1. Line Manage, coach and develop the HR Administrators.
2. Set and monitor performance standards for the team and individual objectives.
3. Manage the delivery of a first class HR service by enabling the delivery of timely, accurate and professional support and advice across the business.
4. Ensure that the HR team deliver a timely, employee focused response to queries.
5. Oversee the HR admin inbox ensuring responses are timely, accurate and delegated to the appropriate member of the team or escalated to the HRD.
6. Identify and submit budget data for review and manage the relationship with key suppliers.
7. Monitor key HR metrics such as turnover and sickness and report on People KPIs, and data and analytics to provide insights to the business to inform decision making.
8. Manage the administration of employee benefits and support the introduction of new benefits and supplier reviews.
9. Support the management of complex employee relations casework including and not limited to dispute resolutions, investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and absence reviews.
10. Project Manage the TUPE transfer of employees into and out of the business including the response to tender information.
11. Act as point of contact for all HRIS systems.
12. Manage the deployment of our HR system Success Factors (d.PEOPLE) and adoption of Success Factors (d.PEOPLE) modules.
13. Manage the time and attendance system from an HR perspective including the timely updating of employee data and implementation of systems improvements.
14. Support the annual timetable of HR activity such as pay reviews, performance reviews, Engagement surveys etc.
15. Support the deployment of Corporate and UK HR interventions including wellbeing, systems and engagement.
Preferred Candidates Will Demonstrate:
1. Previous HR managerial or supervisory experience within a busy environment.
2. Able to build effective relationships with line managers and employees in all levels of the business.
3. Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and HRIS (success factors preferred).
4. Ability to demonstrate a professional, confident and ‘can do’ attitude.
5. Excellent organization and time management skills.
6. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) including active listening.
7. Able to influence at all levels.
8. Team management skills.
9. Able to work confidentially at all times.
10. To deliver accurate data with a right first time approach.
11. Able to analyse and present HR metrics.
12. CIPD Level 5 Certification.

Location:
The role is based at the Head Office in St Albans, located in the City Centre a short walk from the mainline train station. Free parking is available on site.
We are embracing hybrid working with the expectation that the team will typically be in the office at least 3 days per week with the remaining days working from home. (Please note that initial training may require a higher ratio of days in the office.)
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract, min 12 months
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hrs p/w Monday to Friday with flexible start and end times (core hours 9.30 am – 3.30 pm)
Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum, plus 15% potential bonus
