In this diverse and impactful role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with refugee and migrant individuals and their families, providing vital support throughout every stage of their journey to the UK— from their initial arrival in the country to support for their eventual settled address.
Any given day can often feel quite different from the next! There will be some key responsibilities likely to feature in this role, including:
1. Case management and accurate data recording: diligently maintain and oversee caseloads across cohorts, carefully monitoring the progress of refugee integration and passionately identifying any concerns that may urgently require specialised support.
2. Building and maintaining productive partnerships with internal and external partners, the voluntary and community sector.
3. Being the essential point of contact for providing a high level of professional support and guidance to achieve key outcomes regarding housing, income, education, employment, health and wellbeing.
4. Guiding adult family members through the welfare system and assist them in finding a clear pathway to independence, recognising that this path may differ from previous experiences in training and employment.

Required experience and skills
5. A degree or an equivalent qualification, or has extensive experience in refugee resettlement, migration, or social care.
6. Knowledge of refugees and migration, communities, minority groups, partners and stakeholders, and safeguarding and wellbeing issues including racism, domestic abuse and sexual/child/workplace exploitation.
7. Comfortable using a translation service to ensure effective communication with the families.
8. Experience in coordinating and working with partners and volunteers in the resettlement context or in a similar field.
9. Strong ability to organise and prioritise work, coordinating multiple tasks in a clear and logical manner to meet established deadlines.
10. Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to confidently build trust and rapport, often with families or individuals with varying English abilities.
