Capture Studios, a world-class film, photography and virtual production studio, is seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse and Set Build Manager to join our team in Tamworth. This role is crucial for the efficient management of our warehouse operations, including goods in/out, transition processes, and set build requirements including maintenance and painting. This position will help us deliver the highest level of service for our blue-chip clients, including Kingfisher, Matalan, and John Lewis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, ensuring goods are booked in, handled, stored, and dispatched in a controlled and methodical manner.
* Lead the set building process, including construction and repositioning to ensure all sets meet client specifications and quality standards.
* Support the concierge function by assisting with the collection and drop-off of clients using the company minibus.
* Work closely with the management team to identify operational improvements and implement efficient warehouse practices.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse and studio areas.
Requirements
* Experience in warehouse management, preferably within a production or studio environment.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
* Practical experience in carpentry set building, maintenance, and decoration tasks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both team members and clients.
* A valid driving license, with the ability to operate a minibus for client transport.
* A flexible approach to work, with the willingness to undertake a variety of tasks as required.
Desirable Skills:
* Qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, construction, facilities management).
* Experience in a similar role and/or practical position that requires similar skills.
* First aid certification/health and safety qualifications.
* Fork lift operating qualification
