RJA Consulting Exec Search is recruiting for an exciting opportunity to lead a brand-new children’s residential care home set to open later this year. This 6-bed home will provide care for children with complex needs, including severe learning disabilities and limited verbal communication. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Manager with a passion for making a difference and building a service from the ground up.
As the Registered Manager, you will lead the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective staff management. You will be the driving force in creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and live a meaningful life.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the residential home from inception, building a team, and establishing practices.
2. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and lead the home through the inspection process.
3. Foster a positive culture focused on person-centered care and the emotional, physical, and social development of the children.
4. Manage, train, and mentor a dedicated team of care professionals.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Registered Manager in children's residential care.
2. Knowledge of severe learning disabilities and experience managing challenging behaviors.
3. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 5).
4. Strong leadership, resilience, and commitment to making a difference.
