Role Description
1. Develop strong lines of communication between the engineering shift and the manufacturing teams
2. Attend daily/weekly team reviews (manufacturing and engineering)
3. Work with the Lead Engineers and Maintenance Manager to bridge skills gaps within the department
4. Prioritise maintenance and engineering work within their designated area
5. Carry out regular review of PPMs to ensure suitability
6. Use CI tools to deliver improvements
7. Maintain dialogue with OEMs and contractors to help deliver improvements
8. Work with Capex team to facilitate new equipment installation and handover of information to the engineering department
9. Co-ordinate and deliver engineering training to the department
10. Ensure the highest standards of health & safety, food safety and other manufacturing practices are being achieved and maintained by yourself and within the wider department
11. Work with the shift engineers to deliver line improvements
Skills and Qualifications
1. Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Experience
2. Engineering Qualifications - HNC / NVQ / C&G
3. Health and Safety Driven - IOSH Experience
4. Experience of performing Maintenance Engineering within an Industrial Manufacturing Environment
