Are you looking for a change in career or a new role?
We have a fantastic opportunity to work with an experienced and friendly team as a Commercial Sampler.
The role:
As a Sampler within our Commercial team in Staines, you’ll spend your time visiting a variety of commercial sites, carrying out site sampling and monitoring on client premises to manage legionella control and general water quality. You'll be on the front line of water quality, safety, and delivery, ensuring our clients receive the very best when they turn on their tap.
There’s plenty of driving involved, so you’ll be a confident driver with a full UK driving licence. Travelling between sites couldn’t be easier as you’ll be given a company van to get around.
What do you need?
Completing a sampling schedule is often time-pressured, so you’ll be excellent at managing your time. You’ll be a self-starter who’s comfortable working alone, to tight deadlines, and in a fast-paced work environment.
Don't worry if you've not worked in the water industry before - we'll invest the time to ensure you're fully up to speed with specific water industry knowledge and best practices. What matters to us is finding someone who shares our values of health, safety, environment, and quality, and understands the importance of strict procedures and compliance in water sampling.
As the service you’ll provide is essential to the customer, you’ll be comfortable participating in a weekend and out-of-hours standby rota to ensure someone is always on hand when there's an operational issue. It’s all part of your outstanding service.
What's in it for you:
The work you'll do is essential for Affinity Water to deliver safe, clean drinking water to our local communities every day. In return, you'll be entitled to a host of benefits including a competitive salary, double-matching SMART pension scheme, and a holiday allowance that increases with length of service. So the longer you stay, the more you gain.
