experienced paediatric nurses (or adult nurses with paediatric experience) to join our team in the Children’s Emergency Department at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. We are the Paediatric Major Trauma Centre (MTC) for the south west of England and provide care to over 45,000 sick and injured children from across the region each year.

We have full time and part time vacancies for enthusiastic and committed children’s nurses who have completed their preceptorship to join us and welcome informal visits to come and meet the team.

Education: You will have the opportunity to undertake a bespoke package of learning adapted to your experience. With support from our clinical skills facilitators, your development will include specialist education on major trauma, major incidents, minor illness and injuries and mental health, as well as learning through immersive, multi-disciplinary simulation.
Research: We are a national leader in children’s emergency research and have strong links with the department-based research team to keep our care up to date and innovative.
Wellbeing: We are dedicated to the support and wellbeing of staff, with departmental wellbeing weeks, team ‘check ins’ and access to a range of initiatives and activities, including support services.
