We are looking for a logistics manager to direct and oversee the day-to-day operational needs from our small van fleet, drivers and stock movement; a vital part of our retail activity which supports our continued fundraising towards the services we provide.

As (fleet and logistics manager) you will have direct management of our Distribution Centre driver team and vans, ensuring that routes and practises are efficient and effective, servicing our Demelza shop and Distribution centre needs, along with the wider organisation as required.
You will have a good working knowledge of IT, including Microsoft packages, and experience in route planning, van and equipment servicing and maintenance, and workplace health and safety.
People management experience is prioritised to ensure our driving team are managed well, recognised, given great direction and working in the most effective way we can.
A great Manager will be able to work reactively, maximising opportunities from house clearances, to recycling oversight, to large corporate donations from our business supporters. You’ll be a great communicator and comfortable talking to a wide range of teams, supporters and volunteers to ensure that we’re able to provide the best service we can.
This is a full time role Monday to Friday 8:00am till 16:00pm, but will also require some weekend work too.
