Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Contracts Management: Efficiently process and administer customer orders, whether received in hard copy or electronically. This includes reviewing order content, prices, and customer credit, ensuring accuracy at every step.
2. Order Scheduling: Coordinate with our manufacturing teams to schedule and dispatch orders in line with customer requirements, aiming for prompt acknowledgment within 48 hours.
3. Legal and Financial Insight: Develop a solid understanding of the legal aspects of contracts, including finance, invoicing, and standard terms and conditions.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of customer orders.
5. Customer Engagement: Directly address customer queries regarding orders and deliveries, providing timely and clear communication.
6. Team Collaboration: Actively participate in daily team meetings, focusing on safety, workload management, target achievement, and issue resolution.
7. Documentation and Compliance: Create and manage picking lists, shipping documents, export sales, and freight invoices using the SAP system, while ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
8. Performance Tracking: Maintain and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs), including order acknowledgment lead time, on-time delivery, and inventory management.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
1. Expertise in Incoterms 2020: A strong understanding of international commercial terms to ensure compliance and efficiency in shipping processes.
2. Import/Export Proficiency: Knowledge of shipping procedures, customs regulations, and export documentation for various countries.
3. Logistics Savvy: A solid grasp of logistics and warehouse operations to ensure smooth inventory flow and order fulfilment.
4. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in PC skills, particularly Excel and Outlook, with experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
5. Customer-Focused: A passion for delivering top-notch customer service, even in high-pressure situations.
