The Vice President, Information Technology and Cyber Security is responsible for developing and running the information technology architecture, strategy and governance to ensure Bicycle develops the right capabilities and infrastructure to grow into a world class end to end pharmaceutical company.
You will be responsible for building and developing a forward thinking team that are embedded within the organization and seen as critical contributors to Bicycle’s ambitious plans and future successes.
Develop an integrated enterprise-wide IT strategy that prepares the organization for commercial launch, future growth and scale. Covering the full life cycle of the business from research and innovation, through to clinical development, CMC, supply chain and logistics, commercial and corporate.
Develop tailored IT and data solutions for each business area prioritizing wherever possible integration within an overall enterprise-wide architecture roadmap.
Develop and lead the information technology and cyber security team to deliver current and future capabilities and activities across the organisation – providing deep and broad business, functional and domain knowledge to enhance IT’s effectiveness of aligning business outcomes with technology solutions.
Working with key stakeholders across the exec and LT, provide demand triage, design and delivery services for appropriate and effective operational and change management solutions to fulfil business requirements. Partner with the research and innovation, clinical development, CMC and supply chain, finance, corporate and commercial functions to provide input and assist in the development of an accelerated roadmap strategy for commercial launch.
Ensure the operational reliability and performance of all developed solutions prior to transitioning into production.
Enhance and rationalize IT infrastructure, applications and systems required to protect and grow the full Bicycle end to end portfolio, utilizing ML and AI where appropriate.
Oversee IT portfolio budget planning, prioritization and maximizing the resources to deliver business plans. Manage the IT procurement process in close partnership with finance and the function/process owner, ensuring effective business process and requirements analysis is conducted.
Protect the continuity, integrity, and availability of the Bicycle IT systems and maintain compliance with information security management system (ISMS) ISO27001. Ensure cyber security sits at the core of Bicycle ways of working and is understood and supported by the audit committee and the board of directors. Ensure adequate processes continue to function to identify and escalate cybersecurity incidents as appropriate and evaluate disclosure requirements under SEC rules.
Support and enable a data governance, control, and platform implementation strategy that ensures Bicycle proprietary information is held, shared effectively, and secured across the company and relevant 3rd parties, adhering to regulatory requirements (21 CFR part 11 and GxP).
Maintain effective IT application controls and change management controls and meeting SOX compliance requirements and support associated annual audits.
You will be a dynamic enterprise leader, with experience of creating a compelling vision for technology solutions that support the delivery of corporate strategies and commercial goals.
Accomplished track record of enterprise IT delivery within a fully commercialized Biotech, with strong program governance and change management, exposure to multiple technology domains, enterprise architecture and roadmaps.
A leader in cyber security, optimizing strategic partnerships and managing enterprise risk.
Track record in identifying and adopting cutting-edge technology that will make a meaningful difference to the company, with the ability to influence organizations to adopt a more digital culture.
