We have a number of part and full-time vacancies for Teaching Assistants to work with pupils in Aspen 2 who have a range of profound, severe and complex learning needs and disabilities. In Aspen 2, we believe that all pupils, regardless of any barrier, can be successful and live a fulfilling life.
Aspen 2 offers a unique curriculum and approach to pupils, all of whom have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The roles may also include personal care for some of our pupils with physical disabilities.
We are looking for people with energy, determination, enthusiasm, and teamwork skills to join our friendly and forward-looking school. We welcome applications from experienced Teaching Assistants who have worked in a Special Needs school environment; alternatively, you may have a passion for supporting students with additional needs and be looking for your first opportunity to develop your skills. We have a varied and interesting professional development programme that shows the value we place in our support team colleagues. We are looking for someone who will uphold our values of inclusivity and proactive response to communication and behaviour, as well as a commitment to safeguarding the welfare of young people.
