Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for a Purchase Manager in the SN4 area. In this role, you’ll manage stock levels, optimize processes, and ensure efficient purchasing to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities:
* Managing stock levels, generating reports, and conducting regular inventory counts.
* Placing orders to replenish stock and forecasting demand using data analysis.
* Utilizing inventory software to track levels, optimize reorder points, and reduce costs.
* Collaborating with Operations and Sales teams to streamline processes.
* Leading projects like implementing barcoding for medical devices.
* Identifying products/services for purchase and verifying suppliers.
* Working with the Quality team to ensure stock meets company standards.
* Managing budgets, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining procurement records.
About the right candidate:
* Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (or 5+ years of relevant experience).
* Experience with inventory management software (Cin 7 and Zero experience a plus).
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
* Ability to manage sensitive data with confidentiality.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure.
