Responsibilities:
1. Manage an account portfolio of approximately 140+ monthly invoices
2. Act as an escalation point for stakeholders when the manager is unavailable.
3. Assist team and work toward DSO reduction targets
4. Work toward and then maintain open/unsent prior period invoices at near zero (disputed invoices not included).
5. Reduce delinquency (measured by 91+ aging) by 10% month over month.
6. Cross train and have strong understanding of the complimentary business processes.
7. Identify and develop process improvement concepts.
8. Be proficient in all billing systems used by clients, assist with cross training of Analysts.
9. Act as a mentor for junior member of the team.
10. Prepare weekly reports on your billing pod.
11. Resolve client disputes within 45 days.
12. Deliver invoices via e-mail in addition to a variety of client assigned e-billing platforms
13. Work closely with internal time approvers to generate monthly client invoices and monitor delays effectively.
14. Ensure adequate follow up to guarantee timely payments from clients

Requirements :
15. 3+ years of billing/e-billingexperience, law firm experience a big plus
16. Excellent interpersonal skills, and strong verbal and written skills
17. Ability and willingness to assess procedures and proactively recommend improvements to existing processes
18. Ability and willingness to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
19. Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction while adapting to changing priorities and work demands
20. Experience supporting client-facing team members and willingness to help identify and solve issues
21. Ability to work in dynamic, fast paced, fast growing company where adaptability is imperative
22. Strong executive presence with ability to communicate at multiple levels of an organization
23. Experience in team co-ordination
Axiom’s total rewards philosophy is to be transparent and equitable with all job candidates. The annual base salary range for this role located in Belfast is £31,500 - £34,250, and you will be eligible to participate in our cash bonus plan which on target would be 15% of your base salary for an Associate role in the Finance team. Please note that the final compensation is determined by several considerations, including the quality of your experience and expertise, your ability to immediately contribute to Axiom, your potential to move up to the next level, the market you are located in, and other business considerations.
