Sales Manager | Sustainable Beverage Startup | South (Hybrid) Harmonic is excited to be working exclusively with an award-winning sustainable beverage startup who is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team. This company is on a mission to deliver top beverages through the most sustainable means working towards being Europe’s leading sustainable drinks brand. Low carbon packaging solutions and the best climate tech innovations are just some of the methods that this brand uses to be able to create their products putting ethical and environmentally conscious principles before anything else. The business champions fun and environmentally friendly packaging. The business has had very exciting growth in the past few years and is increasing its revenue year on year now at around £2 million. Expected revenue by 2028 will be around £12 million with inspiring growth plans to support this. You can find these products in some of the largest retailers in the UK including Waitrose, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Ocado. This founder led business is making strides in the competitive drinks market and is looking to carry on its impressive growth and has exciting international expansion plans that will provide a great opportunity to the new sales hire. The Role The role will report and work closely into the founder and will have the independence to shape the growth trajectory within retail, hospitality and ecommerce. You will be responsible for building, delivering and growing the strategy of business development. This role is perfect for somebody who is hungry, ambitious and growth mindset oriented. Responsibilities - Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and increase market share in both the UK and internationally. - Identify and secure new relationships and deals with retail, hospitality and ecommerce partners to expand our reach. - Collaborate with the founder and the wider cross-functional team ensuring that goals and objectives are both set and met. - Track sales performance looking at market trends and customer feedback to determine new company objectives. - Be a brand ambassador and represent the business at industry events, tastings and sustainability forums looking to spread the mission of the business. - Educate customers and partners on sustainable drinks and the benefits of low carbon packaging. Must haves - Obsessed with winning new business - At least 2 years of key experience within sales. - Can show you have a track record of hunting out and winning new business in your previous roles. - Worked within the FMCG space before. - Strong account managing experience across key national accounts. - Comfortable working at a fast-pace and getting results quickly. - Excellent at building and maintain people relationships. - Passionate about working for a scaling brand. Nice to haves - Worked within the FMCG challenger brand space. - Worked with a founder before. - Worked in a sustainably driven business. - Passion for sustainability and environmental practices.
