About the Role: As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate closely with the classroom teacher to ensure all students receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially. Your role will be pivotal in assisting with classroom activities, providing tailored support to individual students and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere within the school. Essential Qualities That We Are Looking For: Support the classroom teacher in the planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons. Provide personalised assistance to students, particularly those requiring additional help. Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a respectful and inclusive environment. Monitor and record students' progress, offering constructive feedback to support their development. Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate records and managing attendance. Ensure the classroom remains a safe and welcoming space for all students. Participate in school meetings, events and professional development opportunities. Adhere to the school's policies and procedures, upholding a culture of respect and responsibility. The Successful Candidate Will: Have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. Have previous experience working as a teaching assistant in a school setting. Carry a genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their educational and personal development. Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Have an ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Be proactive and flexible in their approach to work. Have a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with educational best practices.
