) for new business, adjustments and renewalsObtaining quotations from insurer portals, Acturis quote system & manual marketingAdding client policy records to ActurisUpdating Acturis policy records with any changesOwnership of policy from start to finalising coverChecking policy cover and endorsement wordingsInvoicing new business, renewals, mid-term adjustmentsResponsible for creating and managing own tasks with regular updates to clients & DirectorsHands on approach with insurers, clients & DirectorsResponding to all email and phone queries in a timely mannerWriting letters to clientsIndependent working and learningNegotiating favourable policy terms on behalf of clientsFrom time to time, attending client meetings off sitePreparing meeting notesSubmitting a weekly work returnWorking as part of teamTechnical Knowledge / Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years' previous experience within Commercial insurance from a Broker background is essential.Highly focused on delivering excellent customer serviceProactive and confident in building and maintaining client and insurer relationships.Previous experience using Acturis software is beneficial but not essential as training can be provided.Critical thinking and problem solvingProficient in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of Current Insurance MarketInsurance Qualifications are desirableIf you have not heard from us within 48 hours, then please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.This role is being advertised by Kenect Professional who are acting as an Employment Agency regarding this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
