Quadrant Data Administrator as part of the adult community mental health services in South West of Hertfordshire covering St Albans and Dacorum area.
The Adult Community team is a dynamic, fast-paced service. You will be joining a large team of administrative staff who support the clinical team to provide high-quality care for those struggling with serious mental health concerns.
To lead in the provision of a comprehensive, professional, effective secretarial and administrative service to the Team. To take a lead for Data Quality in the quadrant.
You will be the first point of reference and as such must display a considerable degree of initiative, possess mature judgement and maintain a calm, friendly and efficient manner when dealing with service users, their relatives, colleagues and visitors.
You will be required to work independently using initiative, and applying a high degree of confidentiality to all of your work. To undertake non-routine duties without direct supervision, working within broad procedural guidelines.
Main duties of the job
1. To analyse, develop, interpret and present performance information to a high standard, and support the Adult Mental Health service in promoting the use and understanding of information provided.
2. To monitor performance against Adult Mental Health Trust targets and give appropriate feedback.
3. To support the management with targets across the teams.
4. Responsibility for developing systems to manage team performance to agreed Trust targets.
5. To be highly skilled and experienced in the full range of secretarial work practices, software programs, and specialised functional terms.
6. To be proficient and expert in EPR and performance support systems.
7. Advising and guiding others in team in data systems and EPR. Supporting all users and instructing them as necessary.
8. To use proficient internet skills to access, search and retrieve data relevant to team.
9. To supervise other admin staff.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will be required to work across NW Adult Mental Health Service to improve data quality and develop and provide information and information reports to support the achievement of Adult Mental Health targets and apply understanding of required activities and data quality entries of activity to ensure information is correct. The post-holder will require excellent analytical skills with experience of complex datasets, forecasting and reporting of performance. You will be expected to be numerate and have excellent communication skills. The role involves line managing administration staff.

Person Specification
Knowledge
* Relevant experience in a secretarial environment
* Experience of supervising and training others
* ECDL qualification or equivalent experience
* Advanced secretarial skills such as audio and shorthand
