Academics are currently working with a Staffordshire middle school who are seeking to appoint a part-time (0.8) Teacher of Science. This position will be 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday) commencing in January as a fixed term maternity cover contract.

Role Requirements
Hold both the relevant Science degree and teaching qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
Have a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS through ourselves (cost applied).
A passion for teaching Science with the ability to deliver and plan fun and engaging lessons to both Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
Provide professional references that evidence your experience of teaching Science in a school setting.
Have strong behaviour management with excellent subject knowledge.Please be aware that your rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, and the client rate that is available. For longer-term assignments you will be paid according to your teacher pay grade.
