Internal Sales Engineer / Application Engineer / Technical Engineer / Sales Support Engineer required for a UK leading distributor to join their process instrumentation team, based in their Newcastle office.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of process instrumentation / sensors / process instruments (Pressure, level, temperature or flow) as you'll support customers and internal / external sales teams with product selection and use your technical knowledge to develop customer solutions.
This position will ideally be office based near Newcastle, and they will consider someone commutable or looking to relocate. Sponsorship can be provided.

Circa £40,000 depending on experience

Role Responsibilities
1. Identifying and selecting company products that meet customers' requirements.
2. Generating accurate and competitive sales quotes as per the customer requirements.
3. Using technical knowledge of process instrumentation / sensors / process instruments to upsell and develop customer solutions - flow, level, pressure monitoring, instrumentation.
4. Support customers and national branches.
5. Upskill on new technical product related knowledge to build better relationships with customers.
6. Specifying process instruments to meet customer process manufacturing requirements within Chemical, Oil, Gas, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, etc.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in instrumentation sales, application, customer support, etc as an Internal Sales Engineer / Application Engineer / Technical Engineer / Sales Support Engineer or similar.
2. Knowledge of process instrumentation / sensors / process instruments including flow, level, pressure or temperature.
3. Knowledge of Process manufacturing sector such as Chemical, Oil, Gas, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage beneficial.
4. This position will ideally be office based near Newcastle, and they will consider someone commutable or looking to relocate. Sponsorship can be provided.
