Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex planning projects from inception to completion.
Prepare and present comprehensive planning reports to stakeholders and decision-makers.
Conduct thorough analyses of planning applications and their implications on the community.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align planning initiatives with community needs.
Ensure compliance with planning regulations, policies, and procedures at all levels.
Facilitate public consultations and community engagement efforts to gather input on planning matters.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of planning policies and propose necessary revisions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in urban planning or a related field, with a focus on leadership roles.
Proven experience in managing large scale planning projects and teams effectively.
Strong knowledge of local and national planning legislation and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a wide array of stakeholders, including government agencies and community organizations.

Pay Per Hour: £25.25
