About the role:
Lead the technical design and development of our Salesforce solutions. At Hargreaves Lansdown, Salesforce is at the core of our digital transformation and operational excellence. As we continue to enhance and expand our Salesforce platform, we are seeking a Principal Salesforce Developer to lead the technical design and development of our solutions. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, this role will ensure that all technical solutions align with best practices, architectural standards, and business needs.
The Principal Salesforce Developer will play a key role in shaping the future of our Salesforce platform, collaborating with Engineering Managers, Developers, and Consultants. You will guide how technical solutions are built, supporting the Senior Engineering Manager, who oversees what is built across the platform.
You’ll work closely with two Engineering Managers who are responsible for “Design & Build” and “DevOps, QA, and Support,” as well as, for a period, Salesforce Consultants delivering larger-scale developments. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and mentorship.
