The Head of Syndicate and London Market Operations will be responsible for activities related to the Syndicate and the London Market, supporting Business as Usual Processes and driving change improvements. You will drive and manage improvements within the Operational Resilience Framework, Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and efficiency and support regulatory compliance, particularly with Lloyd’s and the FCA Framework Syndicate Governance Hold the SMF24 designation Business Continuity and Resilience Planning : Coordinate business continuity and resilience planning activities and support IT related components. Data Governance – Champion the local data governance program including improving cultural awareness, processes and supporting the definition of data quality metrics. London Market - Represent SCOR Syndicate in various London Market Groups and Coordinate market modernisation projects inclusive of Blueprint 2. Audit Planning and Coordination – Support the planning and coordination of annual external and internal audit programs. Committee and Board Reporting Provide reporting for various committees, the board and regulators on focussed topics. Operational Management Define and Monitor KPI’s between departments to improve the consistency, reliability of processes and data. Syndicate Tools Changes : Lead and organize the maintenance of the Syndicate tools by defining the strategy, the SLAs and supporting operational aspects of the lifecycle. Month-End Processing – support the running of month, quarter and year end procedures and ensuring the collaboration between all departments. Change and Technology Process Alignment and automation : Propose and lead alignment of processes and systems between the Syndicate and the Company and aim to improve and automate the processes to improve data quality and efficiency. Serve as the Product Owner for Lloyds Based Systems – working with others to define and implement roadmaps and provide/define business requirements Stakeholder Management Working with Transverse Functions within Operations, COO Function, Risk, Finance and IT SBS Leadership Teams Team Management Responsible for managing and leading a team to achieve agreed goals The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills : Experience: Extensive experience on the London Market with a specific knowledge on the Lloyds Insurance market / Syndicate Process and systems. Experience in project / team management. Experience working with Technology Teams Skills Good understanding of Business and Technology processes and willingness to constantly update knowledge. Vendor Management, Budget Management, Change Management and Planning Skills required. Knowledge in Company / MGA / LIRMA IUA / Lloyd’s LPSO platforms Knowledge of London Insurance systems, particularly DXC Ability to work effectively in teams and foster collaboration Analytical and pragmatic approach to problem solving and prioritisation. Proactive, open-minded and possessing good team spirit in a cross-cultural environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to signal problems early and identify appropriate Resilience to approach challenging issues with a positive outlook. Language skills: The role requires fluent English skills (oral & written).
