SEN Teaching Assistant - Borehamwood, Hertfordshire!
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team near Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. In this role, you will provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
You will work closely with teachers and staff to implement personalised learning plans, foster a positive and inclusive environment, and encourage pupils to achieve their full potential. This role requires patience, compassion, and excellent teamwork skills.

Position Details:
- Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
- Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Hours: Monday-Friday 09:00-16:00
- Salary: £85-£90/Day inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
- Contract: Temp to Perm.
Key Responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Student Support: Build strong, caring relationships, creating a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Promote Independence: Encourage students' personal growth and foster positive behaviour.
- Assist Learning: Deliver differentiated educational activities to help students achieve their potential.
- Classroom Assistance: Support the teacher with daily classroom operations and tasks.

- Holistic Development: Support students' cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being.
SEN Teaching Assistant Skills & Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Grade 4 (GCSE) in Maths and English.
- Safeguarding: Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
- SEN Experience: Prior experience with SEN learners is desirable.
- Transportation: Full UK driving licence or reliable commute to Borehamwood.
- Compliance: Full-time right to work status in the UK is essential.
