Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR/Payroll Officer to join our client's team in Thirsk, England. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both human resources and payroll management, with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
HR Management:
* Oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
* Provide guidance on employment law and ensure compliance.
* Manage employee performance and development programs.
Payroll Management:
* Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing.
* Ensure accurate and timely payroll data entry and processing.
* Handle employee payroll queries and resolve issues promptly.
* Coordinate with the finance department for payroll reconciliation.
* Oversee compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience in HR and payroll management roles.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and payroll regulations.
* Proficiency in payroll software systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
