Associate Director of Landscape Planning Job in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
I have an available position with a rapidly growing multi-disciplinary consultancy to join their office in Cambridge. The company works on projects at all scales within town, semi-rural and rural contexts, across a variety of sectors that includes residential, historic sites and estates, renewable energy, and mixed-use commercial developments.
This multi-disciplinary consultancy operates across the UK with six regional offices situated in the North, East Anglia, London, and Essex. The current headcount is at 60, but with growth plans in place and their current workload, they are looking to expand the business to 80 in the next 12 months. The services this consultancy offers span across Town Planning, Architecture, Masterplanning, Landscape Architecture, and Heritage.
Role & Responsibilities
* Regularly going on site visits
* Working collaboratively with and managing a team
* Writing reports and providing quality assurance for the team
* Preparing and winning fee proposals
* Working on the production of LVIA and TVIA assessments
* Producing EIA chapters
* Developing landscape strategies and masterplans
Required Skills & Experience
* Chartered Landscape Architect with a minimum of 5+ years post qualification
* Confidence in undertaking site surveys and LVIA/TVIA assessments
* Experience of authoring EIA chapters
* The ability to work well collaboratively in a team, with experience of managing, supporting, and mentoring team members at a more junior experience level
* A full UK driving license with access to your own car for site visits and business requirements
* Experience of preparing landscape strategies, landscape masterplans, and LI work stages up to planning
* Previous UK experience is essential
* Due to the caliber of the reports you will produce, an exceptional grasp of the English language is desirable
