To ensure accurate and efficient administration (accounting, secretarial, regulatory and reporting) of the Investment Trusts. Responsibility for reporting of various types in line with the reporting and regulatory calendar of the investment trusts, prepare income forecasts, VAT returns, and other financial administrative tasks.,
* Accurate and efficient administration of our Investment Trust Companies, across a selection of asset types, and in comparison to their peer groups
* Private company investment record keeping
* Production of monthly reporting for our corporate body, the AIC and data sign off for monthly performance calculation by Performance Analysis team
* Production of reports for the Trust Boards, including Board reporting per the trust lifecycle and private company pack production
* Strong links with Fund Operations, Specialist Services, Investment Teams, Fund Managers and external stakeholders
* Loan administration including fall to breach, gearing and loan compliance checks, loan administration and interest provision
* Processing of accounting records using ICON accounting systemÂ
* Preparation of income forecasting estimates
* Preparation of VAT returns
* Share buyback and issuance administration, and peer group reporting
* Assist with AIFMD, regulatory and company secretarial compliance and reporting
* General ad-hoc administrative tasks as required, including stock exchange announcements, DDQ/RFP and query responses
* Involvement in departmental & innovation projects
Financial Services Administration experience essential with experience of working in Asset management desirable
* Intermediate level Microsoft Excel and Word (essential)
* Knowledge of ICON accounting system (desirable)
* Numerate, with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, IOC unit 1 (Introduction to Securities and Investment) - highly desirable on recruitment, but essential within first 6 months in roleÂ
* Graduate calibre - desirable
