My client is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management, and wealth management services. Hourly: £14.83 PAYE + holiday pay
Role Objective: Firm Human Resources is committed to recruiting and retaining talented individuals and positioning them to excel. Our HR professionals provide a full range of services including human capital planning; creating strategies to attract, develop, and reward employees; promoting a diverse workforce; fostering employee engagement; designing competitive pay and benefit plans; and proactively addressing employee matters. The EMEA HR Employee Solutions (ES) team supports the HR Business Partner function by completing and contributing to a number of operational and advisory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in coordinating activities surrounding employee relations, performance management, compensation, people metrics, and talent management.

7. Compensation and Promotion Cycle Support
8. Payroll Query Support
9. HR Governance and Project Support
10. Act as first point of contact for general queries from employees and the Business
11. Manage high volume of emails in centralized mailbox
12. Maintain and update the central HR database (Workday) and various other systems, as well as the team's own process tracking tools
13. Support Senior HR Business Partners with ad hoc tasks and queries
14. Maintain strong relationships with HRBP counterparts regionally and globally
15. Remain up to date on all aspects of UK employment legislation
16. Initially focus on operational items; anticipate taking on more complex responsibilities in the future.
Requirements:
1. Good HR foundation with the ability to operate across the full range of HR disciplines.
2. Proven junior HR Business Partner experience (2-3 years of experience preferred).
3. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
4. Ability to build relationships with employees at all levels.
5. Methodical, rational, and logical approach to problem-solving.
6. Excellent attention to detail.
7. Compensation/data experience or aptitude; strong numerical skills.
8. Strong Excel skills.
9. Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
10. Willingness to seek and identify alternative solutions when faced with an obstacle.
