We are seeking a dedicated Inclusion & Isolation Manager to support a mainstream secondary school in helping students overcome behavioural, emotional, and social challenges that may impact their learning.
Behaviour Management: Oversee the isolation room, manage student behaviour, and directly intervene in incidents.
Pastoral Support: Engage with students, providing emotional and behavioural guidance.
Calm Learning Environment: Ensure a focused and disruption-free setting.
Student Assessments: Identify and implement personalised behavioural interventions.
Building Confidence: Support students in developing self-esteem, motivation, and positive behaviour.
Progress Monitoring: Provide feedback on student behaviour, achievements, and attendance.
SEN Collaboration: Work with the SENCO to adjust learning for students requiring additional support.
Classroom Behaviour Strategies: Assist teachers with behaviour management and develop Behaviour IEPs.
Mentoring & Support: Lead small group mentoring and one-to-one sessions in partnership with Heads of Year.
Strong experience in managing challenging behaviour in a school setting.
Ability to assess and implement individualised support plans.
A proactive and compassionate approach to student wellbeing.
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and two professional references.
