The Role:
As a Field Care Supervisor, you’ll work with the Nurse Manager who will support you to oversee the care of a small caseload of clients with diverse complex care needs, who require interventions like ventilation, gastrostomy, and bowel management.
Your responsibilities will include inducting Care Assistants and Support Workers into their care packages, ensuring they possess the necessary clinical skills and receive relevant training to meet clients’ needs.
Ultimately, your role as a Field Care Supervisor aims to guarantee that clients receive exceptional service from a well-trained, enthusiastic and compassionate team.
Salary and Benefits:
* £31,500 per annum based on working 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
* Work with Nurse Manager for smooth care package transitions.
* Help select support workers for effective teams.
* Maintain familiarity with clients through regular shifts.
* Review and update care plans with Nurse Manager.
* Ensure full care package coverage and manage absences.
* Identify staffing gaps, assist with recruitment, and introduce new staff.
* Mentor support workers and address training needs.
* Keep accurate care and supervisory records.
* Monitor client satisfaction and report concerns.
* Follow safeguarding policies and report safety issues.
Requirements:
* Hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
* Commit to achieving a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care within two years (funded by Superior Healthcare).
* Experience working with people living with complex health needs, such as tracheostomies, ventilators (BiPAP/CPAP), gastrostomy tubes, and bowel management care.
