We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Gartree, a category B men's prison, located in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
Hours
Tues - Fri (22.5 hrs), from 08:30 - 16:30. This is a part-time position working 3 days per week (Tues - Fri).
Salary
You will receive an annual salary up to £64,471 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Demonstrate judgement in assessing and managing wide-ranging and complex patient problems.
* Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team. This multi-disciplinary team is made up of a variety of registered and non-registered professionals including mental health and substance misuse practitioners.
* Support senior clinicians on site; you will be part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients.
* As a clinical expert in your field, you will work with the team to ensure patient safety, the management of complex cases, and ensure the most up-to-date treatment methodology is applied to patient care.

Qualifications required:
* Registered Nurse - Adult Mental Health with current NMC or Registered Paramedic with current HCPC.
* Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification.
* MSc in Advanced Practice.
* Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner following best practice guidance.
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
