Grafton Banks Finance are working with a locally well known commercial company with offices in Brighton, East Sussex to recruit a Treasury Analyst on a full time permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of Finance this role manages and has day-to-day ownership of all aspects of treasury operations. This includes managing day-to-day banking relationships and all administrative aspects of setting up bank accounts, ensuring mandate signatories are correct and user banking access is appropriate. The role is responsible for the consolidation and reporting of accurate and timely cash flow forecasts and ensuring daily cash needs are met. The role is additionally responsible for contributing to FX hedging requirements, settlement of intercompany balances across the Group and the management of external loan facilities, as well as identifying improvements and cost savings in current banking processes. Duties and Responsibilities will include: Treasury administration & maintenance and relationship management Maintain day to day relationship with banking partners, ensuring all bank mandates are up to date and that the Group is conforming to all banking regulatory requirements Maintain banking user access to ensure users have the correct access for day-to-day payments management Oversight of opening, closing and maintenance of bank accounts for the Group Liaise with banks to resolve operational issues Develop an understanding of the Group’s Senior Facilities Agreement and support the Company in ensuring that covenant compliance is maintained effectively and efficiently Support Credit and Risk Manager in maintaining operating relationship with 3rd party payment providers Liquidity reporting & forecasting Consolidate and report on cash flow forecast and bank balance reports on a weekly basis, providing appropriate professional overview and challenge. Analyse debtors to forecast cash inflow from student receipts Prepare regular and ad-hoc reporting for banking and lending stakeholders Monitoring and managing cashflows Ensure there are sufficient funds (in each account and currencies) on a daily basis. This involves: Monitoring daily bank account balances and currency cash positions Liaise with Finance teams to ascertain short- and medium-term cash, payment forecasts and FX requirements via cash forecasts and other means Settling intercompany positions across the Group Assist Director Financial Control in management of external loan facilities and drawdown/repayment administration Assist other members of the Finance team to identify improvements in banking processes and to reduce transaction fees Assist other members of the Finance team to ensure the most cost-effective sourcing of currency is used in order to reduce exposure to currency fluctuations in country and within the Group Execute foreign exchange trades in line with group policies The successful candidate will have previous treasury experience, working within a treasury function with experience of working within a multi- currency global treasury role, administering online banking platforms and updating bank mandates, experience of liaising with bank contacts, preparation of cashflow forecasts, excellent IT skills including Excel and Microsoft packages alongside excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
