Job Title: Technical Sales Chemist\n\nSalary: £30-40k, Performance Bonus\n\nLocation: Leeds (Hybrid, min 3/4 days in office), Travel across UK & EU required\n\nOur client is a start-up speciality chemicals distributor who are currently at the forefront of developing their own innovative products. This position would be suitable for an R&D Chemist who is looking to move into a technical sales role.\n\nKey responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nSupport the company in its strategy to develop within the European market\nMaintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer service\nPro-actively search for new customers in the European market\nStay ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas, customer demands, and emerging opportunities\nAssist with tracking sales performance, analysing key metrics, and preparing regular reports on sales activities and revenue forecasts\nProduce company presentations and assist in presenting to potential and current customers\nContinuously evaluate and improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction\n\nEssential requirements for the role:\n\nYou have strong business acumen\nYou have a Chemistry or (related science) degree (BSc/ MSc from a reputable university) and are technically proficient in this area\nYou are able to conduct market analysis, marketing and sales planning\nYou are highly proficient in working with technology (laptops, phones) and Microsoft software (Windows, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)Advantageous/desirable:\n\nDirect experience in UV-curing market or have a background in coatings/inks/paints\nMasters/ PhD in Chemistry\nProficiency with CRM and ERP software \n\nApply: \n\nTo apply for this position, please send your CV to (url removed) or call myself on (phone number removed)
