The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly. The Brae is the severe and complex needs provision attached to Rosehill High School, on the Wallyford Learning Campus. Our S1-S4 school roll currently sits at around 480 and includes 28 young people in our severe and complex needs provision, The Brae currently has four classes with a combined total of 28 learners and will continue to expand in following years. This secondary learning facility is designed to support creative approaches to learning, with a range of adaptive teaching spaces. Alongside up to date and digitally enabled classrooms, there is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) wing, a Learning Resource Centre, extensive facilities to support the arts, and a state of the art sport and leisure complex. Learning and teaching on the campus goes beyond the traditional classroom and encompasses outdoor learning and sustainability. The campus also includes a number of community and health spaces to support collaboration between a range of professionals and sectors. Each ASN auxiliary is allocated to a strong House Team, and will work closely with the Curriculum Leader for Support for Learning, Pupil Support Workers, classroom teachers, and support staff.
