Are you an expert in manipulating and extracting data with a background in Accountancy? If you’re good at communicating change to different teams, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. We’re seeking two Finance Accountant's to join our Health Finance team on a 12 month basis. You’ll manage the completion and introduce improvements to meet our audit deliverables within the Financial Operations team. You’ll also work with large data sets, extracting from various systems and driving change from IT and data teams in order to enhance reporting and controls. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Developing of new processes, reporting and controls to ensure an enhanced and accurate delivery of our audit. Working collaboratively across departments including IT to resolve issues or drive changes where needed. Extracting, manipulating, and analysing large volumes of data. Resolving outstanding reconciliation issues and document changes, clearly communicate if issues are identified and what the potential resolutions are. Working with others to quickly understand the current processes, streamline, and identify improvements and implement them, including embedding back into the team. Communicating progress through regular reporting. Managing stakeholder expectations. What you’ll bring: Part qualified/qualified accountant, with strong relevant analytical experience. Working practice of reconciliations and working with large data sets. Experience of implementation of new processes and controls. Insurance accounting knowledge preferable. Proactive and self-driven individual with a high level of initiative. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail.
