Your new company
A market leading technology services organisation in central Southampton requires a Credit Controller for an initial period of 12 months.
Your new role
You will be responsible for ensuring that cash generation into the business is maximised and that Aged Debt is minimised each month. You will be required to ensure the customer accounts are managed efficiently and payments are received promptly.
1. Resolve customer queries in a timely fashion
2. Work effectively with other departments to ensure the highest levels of customer service are given at all times.
3. Actively chase overdue customer accounts via letter and telephone
4. Reduce shortfalls and ensure dunning and late payer process is followed
5. Provide Sales Department with information on late payers and issues that may prevent trading
6. Promote and focus on the company’s direct debit facility, which must be operated to a high standard.
7. Process and manage Direct Debit payments
8. Process daily Direct Debit reports and files
9. Post and allocate payments received into bank accordingly
10. Carry out credit checks and risk management.
