We are looking for a dynamic and creative Teacher of Graphic Design, with the ability to teach Creative iMedia and Food Technology, to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Southport. This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of designers, content creators, and innovators in a school that values creativity and vocational learning.
What You'll Do:
1. Teach engaging and innovative Graphic Design lessons using industry-standard software and techniques
2. Deliver Creative iMedia lessons, covering digital media, animation, and interactive design
3. Provide hands-on, practical lessons in Food Technology, encouraging creativity and skill development
4. Inspire students to explore careers in design, media, and food industries
5. Develop projects and coursework that allow students to build real-world portfolios
6. Support students working towards GCSEs, BTECs, and vocational qualifications
7. Collaborate with colleagues to drive creativity and innovation across the curriculum

Who We're Looking For:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience
2. Experience in teaching Graphic Design, Creative iMedia, or Food Technology
3. Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or digital media platforms
4. A passion for vocational education and developing real-world skills in students
5. The ability to engage and inspire learners through creative, hands-on teaching
