The post is responsible for developing the direction of NHS Lothian hospital sites at an operational level in relation to Catering, Logistics and Domestic Services. Within this, the post holder is required to plan, direct, control and evaluate the provision of these services in order to support the delivery of healthcare particularly waiting times, unscheduled care and capacity.
The postholder will act as the Soft FM area lead and will be the Soft FM main point of contact for areas such as HEI, EP&BC and H&S and Risk Management Systems. As such, the post holder will also have direct accountability to Hospital Directors.
