The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Event Co-Ordinator/Planner to oversee the planning and coordination of our B2B events. This is a hands-on role, where you'll take ownership of the administrative and logistical aspects of our events, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Booking hotels, meeting rooms, and event spaces in line with event requirements.
2. Liaising with hotel staff to confirm details such as room arrangements, dietary requirements, and attendee lists.
3. Creating detailed event schedules, agendas, and itineraries for clients and delegates.
4. Maintaining clear and consistent communication with venues and suppliers.
5. Ensuring all attendee needs are met, including special requests and bespoke arrangements.
6. Coordinating transport arrangements and on-site event logistics as needed.
7. Supporting clients and attendees with any pre-event queries via phone and email.
8. Helping out with day-to-day requirements of the busy DP Events office.
The Candidate:
1. Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with an eye for detail.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
3. Proven experience in event management or a similar administrative role.
4. Ability to liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, and venue staff.
5. Confident working independently, taking initiative, and solving problems as they arise.
6. Familiarity with creating schedules and ensuring deadlines are met.
7. A professional, approachable manner, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
Package:
£30k basic salary, based on experience.
