Education and Training
£20 - £30 Per hour
Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Create engaging lesson plans and learning materials to support individual student requirements
* Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
* Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure academic goals are met
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Specialist knowledge in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
* Experience working with students with SEMH needs
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
* At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
* Strong understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning
* Ability to differentiate teaching methods to cater to individual student needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Training in behaviour management techniques
Working Conditions:
